Maitreyee Avachat is a Research Analyst at Strategic Foresight Group. 

A trained pilot, Maitreyee has worked at Qatar Aeronautical College in Doha, Qatar. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation from Institute of Aviation and Aviation Safety. 

She has also procured a post-graduate diploma in International Studies from Mumbai University, having written a dissertation about the lacunae in the Outer-space Treaty. 

Maitreyee has been a social activist, and has worked as a core volunteer for the  IAC movement, as well as co-ordinated a campaign against sexual harassment in Mumbai. She is an experienced  content creator and has written for various media companies and digital publications.
