The Blue Peace for the Nile report was launched on the occasion of World Water Day. This report was prepared in consultation with over 150 persons from the Nile region, through the following avenues :

· Zurich Workshop, attended by around 50 policy makers, parliamentarians and experts

· Field visits

· Meeting with Ministers on the side-lines of World Water Forum and Africa Water Forum.

The report has already received appreciation from experts and important multilateral institutions such as the World Bank, European Commission, African Union, among others. The press release announcing the report was carried in over 100 newspapers and blogs from different parts of the world.
