SFG team visited Washington DC and New York for consultations with stakeholders for the global water security initiative. In Washington DC the SFG team met with the Special Coordinator for Water Resources in the State Department, senior officials in the Department of Interior, Governmental organisations dealing with water, NGOs and think tanks. The Brookings Institution and the Centre for American Security organised closed door roundtables to discuss the initiative. In New York the SFG team met with various departments of the United Nations and the Clinton Global Initiative.
