On the 6th of May, the World Bank convened a meeting of donor countries to the Nile Basin to discuss the way ahead to break the current deadlock. SFG participated in the meeting in Washington DC via video link and shared the details of the Blue Peace On the Nile Report that was launched in March on the occasion of World Water Day. Recommendations of the report were discussed in detail by the representatives of the donor agencies. Overall, there was much appreciation expressed by the representatives of the World Bank as well as donor agencies with regards to the report.
