HRH Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan, former Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis of Turkey and former Finance Minister Mohamad Chatah of Lebanon are members of a new High Level Group on regional water cooperation in the Middle East, launched at a meeting held in the Royal Scientific Soceity, Amman in April 2012.

The High Level Group will promote the Blue Peace process for advancing regional cooperation in water between Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey for two years with support from the Government of Switzerland and intellectual partnership with Strategic Foresight Group.
