SFG and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation hosted an international workshop bringing together over 35 policy makers and parliamentarians from the Nile River Basin countries  in Zurich on February 23-24, 2012. It was organised in partnership with Political Directorate of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

HE Charity Ngilu, Chairman of Nile Council of Ministers and Minister for Water and Irrigation of Kenya delivered the keynote address. The participants identified key natural and political challenges and many different ways to make a breakthrough.
