Held in collaboration with the Alliance of Liberal and Democrats for Europe in the European Parliament and Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, the second roundtable looked toward more concrete objectives while dealing with the issue of terrorism. 35 eminent leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America contributed to the outcome of the report.

The First International Roundtable on Constructing Peace Deconstructing Terror marked SFG's preliminary efforts at bridging the divide between West -Islam relations post 9/11. The conference aimed at eliminating several misconceptions about terrorism and focused on identifying the root causes and solutions to this problem in the future.
